School Supply Lists/Order

To simplify back-to-school preparations, KCSD96 provides classroom school supplies for all students. Rather than requiring families to purchase individual supply lists, the district purchases classroom supplies in bulk for use throughout the school year.

This approach allows the district to provide high-quality supplies at a lower overall cost while promoting consistency, equity, and efficiency across our schools. It also helps reduce the financial and logistical burden on families and ensures that every student begins the school year with the necessary classroom materials.

A portion of the district's annual student fees supports the purchase of classroom supplies. Families are still responsible for providing a backpack, PE shoes, lunchbox, and USB-C headphones (not wireless/not Bluetooth), as these items vary based on individual student needs and preferences.

By providing classroom supplies centrally, the district streamlines the back-to-school process and helps create a consistent learning experience for all students.
